NeXGen™ Gas Control Unit

The Telescada NeXGen™ GCU Ultra Low Power Remote Terminal Unit is a powerful, flexible an economical solution for transmission and distribution pressure, flow and temperature automation, monitoring, recording, alarming and control. Built upon a modular and expandable framework, the NeXGen™ GCU meets the needs of transmission and distribution engineers for the monitoring and control of new distribution facilities or the upgrade of existing ones. In fully functioning analog sampling operation the NeXGen™ GCU draws only 10mA of current, making the NeXGen™ GCU an excellent instrument for the monitoring and control of remote assets that do not have access to AC power, or are battery operated and solar charged.
A local maintenance port allows for direct interrogation and programming of the NeXGen™ GCU using the NeXGen™ NGC Maintenance Utility Software. DNP3.0 standard communications protocol allows the NeXGen™ GCU to communicate with any modern SCADA system. The NeXGen™ GCU core’s small footprint allows for quick installation on distribution panels, or mounting within a wall mount or pole top enclosure. The NeXGen™ GCU supports multiple input voltages, and complete NeXGen™ GCU, power and communications packages are available from Telescada.
