UtiliSCADA™

SCADA Master Controller for Electric and Gas Distribution.

The UtiliSCADA™ SCADA Master Controller is an extremely powerful yet user-friendly SCADA Master Controller designed to provide complete remote and local operational control of Electric, Gas Utilities. Originally designed for Municipals, Cooperatives and Public Power Districts, the 3rd Generation UtiliSCADA™ enjoys a wide deployment due to its wide ranging capability, modular configuration, ease of use and reasonable cost.

UtiliSCADA™ runs on a Windows® server, and user interface programs on any standard PC using the Windows® operating system.The database management system uses Microsoft® SQL 2020 Server — a full size, industrial strength SQL DBMS with a maximum database size of over 500 petabytes. UtiliSCADA™ is a distributed SCADA system: it can run on one computer, or several machines when managing larger systems.

Communications & Security

Protocols and protection.

UtiliSCADA™ can communicate with devices on one channel or as many channels as needed simultaneously. Popular communications protocols (DNP, MODBUS, MultiSpeak, IEC-61850) and legacy protocols are supported. Multiple protocols can run over the same channel. Communications can run over Ethernet or serial connections, or via any other medium when appropriate converters are used (radio, fiber optic cables, cellular modems, etc.).

Security

UtiliSCADA™ security is implemented through Microsoft SQL 2020 Server. All of the latest encryption, authentication and authorization methods of the SQL server are utilized.

NERC CIP Compliance

UtiliSCADA™ is designed to support the evolving standards set forth by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation regarding Critical Infrastructure Protection Compliance. UtiliSCADA employs industry-standard encryption methods, asymmetric keys and digital certificates to encrypt stored data and communications: CIP-002, CIP-003, CIP-004, CIP-005, CIP-006, CIP-007, CIP-008, CIP-009, CIP-010, CIP-013.

A US-based engineering team behind every installation.

A number of support and maintenance agreements are available from Telescada — from normal business hours support to 24/7 emergency response. All support is provided by our US-based engineering team.

Utility-specific training modules are developed to suit the individual utility and SCADA system. Training can be delivered remotely, or on-site over multiple days as required.
